Background. An increased interest to the problems of development of the professional-creative potential (PCP) of university students has been expressed by scientists representing various scientific field: psychologists, educationists, philosophers, sociologists, engineers etc. The research object is the peculiarities of formation of a developing environment, accumulating psychological and pedagogical, philosophical and other bases, associated with Russia’s transition to market relations in all spheres of human life. Topicality of the research is caused by a necessity to repare experts of a new generation (bachelors and masters), capable of creative development, productive labor based on creative thinking. The aim of the work is to find ways of university students’ PCP development in conditions of education focused on the concept of creative self-development, freedom of creation and complete realization of personality’s creative potential.
Materials and methods. The research was carried out through studying the didactic materials concerning the theory of personality’s creative activity as a basis of students’ PCP development withing the university’s creative educational environment. The authors studied and theoretically analyzed psychological and pedagogical, philosophical, sociological and other literature in terms of enrichment of the theory and practice of pedagogical science.
Results. The authors attempted to give a complex analysis of the modern condition of professional and creative capabilities of students in psychological and pedagogical and philosophical literature.
Cocnlusions. The main factor of university students’ PCP developement is the continuous nature of their creative activity with teachers, being guarantee of creating something new.
